Subject: A great MC show.

This is one you want to bookmark MC kids. Great playing and very good sound.
I think, looking back over the 27 years I've been following MC, that You Write the Book is one of my fav Creek tunes (crazy good vid> http://vimeo.com/22484028). "Put the last page in the middle and never look back. Never look back." It's expansive- full of possibility and potential. I love everything Scott does with the tune. Mark, with another excellent cover pick, proves he is able to sing a John Prine song and then some with Speed Of The Sound Of Loneliness. Wow.
Dark Water, Willow Tree, White Freightliner Blues, Gypsy Blue > Something Is Forming> Old Stones,Broken Bones, Chains Of Life > John Henry is all so damn good. It was one of those nights.. Greg on the String Change Dub (cool improv boys) is the cherry on top. A great MC show.

I was lucky enough to be at this one, the last show they played there before the Stone Church closed down if I'm not mistaken.
Anyways, I haven't listened to it since the show which is almost 2 years ago but still what stands out REALLY clearly is the first set...it was STELLAR...especially the Forming to close(duh) but I think Dark Water had a good jam too, WFB, and also Gypsy Blue. I dunno I'm downloading as we speak to listen again to this gem.
So yes, I highly recommend downloading and definitely check out the first set and the John Henry in the second. I do remember the string change rap, we were all laughing our asses off lol. At one point a huge german shepard was romping through the crowd, so see if you can hear that too lol.
And as always, Max Creek is without a doubt one of the best bands of all time.

for the string change dub/jam alone. These guys are too much sometimes. (Not really, when it comes to Creek I can never get enough!)
